ULTRA Hardware and Software

Our Ultra Cockpit simulator which features a three-screen display with 24” LED displays, which many of our clients believe provides the most realistic simulation experience available. This immersive panorama is designed to wrap around the driver, which assists with depth perception, and also helps them gain a better feel for the size and position of their vehicle in the virtual world.

 

This extended FOV is especially helpful when turning at intersections, dealing with cross traffic, pedestrians and other risks that may be outside the FOV of the of a view single screen display. This triple screen display delivers a “real-life” visual experience and produces an accurate representation of what it’s like to sit behind the wheel of an actual car. Accurate Behind the Wheel Perspective: Most importantly, each of our systems accurately positions the driver on the left hand side of the car, in order to replicate an accurate behind the wheel perspective. This means the driver has more of the vehicle on the right than the left, which is important when learning how to turn corners maneuver in traffic.   

 

Our driving simulators utilize the latest in computer-generated graphics technology and the most comprehensive computer-based training package available in the industry.  

 

Each system features the new G920 wheel assembly that incorporates a large 11” steering wheel with dual forcefeedback motors, which provide an authentic simulation experience. 

The stainless-steel pedals incorporate spring loaded resistance for the accelerator, brake, and clutch for operation in both automatic and manual transmission modes. Inserted within the face of each pedal there are rubber nodules, which provide a solid grip to the sole of any shoe. In addition, each of the pedals are spring loaded, and mimic tension levels associated with the pedals in real vehicles.  And, unlike most competitive systems, we have also integrated both automatic and manual transmission capabilities into our simulator
